Family Sessions
- Sessions can take place at a location of your choice, such as your home, local park, downtown location, or anyplace that may be special to you I will take as long as necessary to capture your images, but it usually takes 1 to 2 hours. I like to schedule them 2 hours before sunset, as this time provides the best light My style is very laid back and casual. I won't put a lot of pressure on you to perform. I just want you to be you! Please just relax and be yourself, this is supposed to be fun! We can arrange for a pre-session meeting to go over all the details of location, clothing, props, etc.
- As far as clothing is concerned, keep it simple and classic. Solid color tops with jeans or khakis work best. Stay away from busy patterns and logos. Little girls look cute in simple dresses and little boys look cute in jean overalls. I love barefeet and accesories such as hats, scarves, flowers, teddy bears or dolls and the like. Families should dress in coordinating colors. You may bring as many clothing changes as you like.
Farm Sessions
- You will need to scout some possible spots on your property that will make suitable backgrounds. Before the shoot mow an area and move objects out of the way that may clutter up your background. Make sure you prepare a large area if you need action shots. The sun should be over the photographers back. If there is really no spot that you can find, then you may need to consider taking your horse somewhere more suitable such as a park or field close to home.
- If you are having farm promotional shots of your farm done keep in mind any clutter that might normally be a part of your landscape. Keep an eye out for anything in need of repairs prior to picture day.
- Have your horse bathed, clipped and show ready groomed before the photographer arrives. Pick out a nice halter and lead that won't distract from your horse. A simple leather halter is best.
- Make sure that your subjects have had a good meal and no other stressful or distracting events will be happening that day. A happy horse will be more alert and cooperative than one that is fretting or unhappy. This is also true for you, the handler, so keep a happy and relaxed attitude, because this will be reflected in your final product
- Last minute touch ups on your horse include fly spray, show sheen, hoof black, grease on the face, final mane and tail brush out, body wiped down with a towel.

It's that time of year again! Students are going back to school! Another year has gone by! For a limited time only have your student's picture taken, from senior portraits right on down to preschool. All portraits must be done outdoors but you will be happy you had them done! This special includes three clothing changes. Whether you want three casual or at least one formal shot is entirely up to you! You will get a disk of edits and a print package of three 8x10's and three sheets of wallets. (One of each pose!) You also get the disk of course and can purchase any picture you want online. Parents! Ask about my photo scrap books! Great gifts for the parents or grandparents of high school graduates! Even the graduate will love to see these wonderful books with pictures of their friends and family to take with them off to college!
Student super special - $100
Student portrait time again! Though your graduates will especially love this one! Two separate locations can be used! Three clothing changes and one portrait setting with the proud guardian of this special graduate. Can be a grandmother who never lost faith, mom and dad who never once pulled their hair out when graduate was growing up.... Even a favorite teacher who pushed and prodded at the graduate until they made an A on that history test! This package also comes with four 8x10's and a memory book and a disk of edits! Provide me with the pictures of your school career and I'll give you a very happy place to look back! Remember your friends, your family anyone you want who is special to you. Perfect for that special student with a whole bunch of friends! One outdoor location and as many friends as you want to bring for that super fun portrait you can take to college with you and remember for the rest of your life! This is a super fun package as you can have as many photos as you can fit into a fixed amount of time. As many clothing changes as you want, mix and match, and with whoever you want. Friends, family, so long as it fits into two hours you can have that perfect shot. This package comes with three 8x10's and a memory book of this special day and a disk of edits. A mini session is a shortened version of a regular session. They last between 30 to 45 minutes. Only one type of shots can be done. For example, only individual shots, only family, or only sibling shots, not a combination of all can be fit into a mini session.
